When the storage capacity of RS2414+/RS2414RP+ is nearing its limits, RS2414+/RS2414RP+ can easily be expanded up to 24 drives with a total of 144TB2 by RX1214/RX1214RP3. It securely connects to the Synology RX1214/RX1214RP with specially-designed connection cable to ensure maximum throughput.
Boasting four built-in LAN ports with failover combined with hot-swappable drives, RS2414+/RS2414RP+ ensures continual service uptime during drive replacement or unexpected LAN failure. The passive cooling technology eliminates dependency upon a dedicated processor cooling fan. Should a fan fail, the built-in redundancy mechanisms will spin up functional fan(s) to improve ventilation. In addition, RS2414RP+ supports redundant power supplies which can ensure service uptime.
