DS3612xs can easily be expanded with Synology DX12113 which is connected to DS3612xs via an Infiniband cable that carries 12 Gb/s SATA signal to ensure maximum throughput.
In addition to the default four Gigabit ports, DS3612xs supports dual 10GbE ports with one add-on PCI Express Gen2 x8 Network Interface Card, helping to maximize system bandwidth.
