The ColorEdge CG318-4K has been designed for use in the media and entertainment industries (including film and television), which are increasingly using high resolution formats. They require suitable display resolutions for 2D and 3D CGI (computer-generated imagery), visual effects, compositing and color grading.
This 31-inch monitor therefore displays content with a native DCI 4K resolution of 4096 × 2160 pixels. The CG318-4K can be used for both editing and reference tasks. It is also ideal for photographers and printing specialists who require a large monitor with a high resolution and pixel density. The impressive monitor has an LCD panel with IPS (in-plane switching) and a wide gamut, which reproduces 98% of the DCI-P3 gamut and 99% of the Adobe RGB gamut. The ColorEdge CG318-4K features a 3D LUT (look-uptable) that controls individual colors using a cubic RGB table.
